WHEREAS, The Church of God has historically stood for a life of holiness and separation from the world, and
WHEREAS, The Bible clearly teaches that God's people are to be holy in all manner of conversation, and
WHEREAS, The early Church of God pioneers sacrificed greatly to maintain standards of holiness, and
WHEREAS, There is a need in this present age for a clear witness of holy living,
BE IT RESOLVED THAT WE, the ministers and members of the Church of God, reaffirm our commitment to the biblical standard of holiness in dress, conduct, and lifestyle.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED THAT WE encourage all members to study the Word of God and allow the Holy Spirit to guide them in all matters of holy living.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED THAT WE, as ministers and members, seek to conform to the positive virtues of love, mercy, and forgiveness as taught by Jesus Christ.
